A-TEC Ambulance, Inc. takes great pride in all patient care. We have taken many steps to ensure that we have only the newest and best in pre-hospital patient care technology. Our crew members are what really make A-TEC Ambulance “A Caring Company.” Each crew member undergoes a pre-employment screening process to ensure we have the most qualified personnel. Once a crew member is employed with A-TEC, they undergo ongoing training from both A-TEC and the EMS system they will be operating under. Once A-TEC has taken a patient into our care we will remain with our patient until that patient’s care has been transferred to the new facility. For a "wait and return" call, for example to a doctor’s office or an MRI center, A-TEC will generally remain with our patient throughout the procedure and return the patient back to their facility. This makes it unnecessary to send a facility staff member along for the trip, and creates peace of mind knowing that patient care can be given in the event of an emergency. It is one of A-TEC’s core principles to treat all of our patients as we would want someone to treat our family, so in that sense our patients become our family. Our staff understands that this can be a stressful and frightening time for you and your loved ones and we will do everything in our power to reduce the worries and concerns anyone may feel.
